Warranty and after-sales service

Used machines differ in age, condition, equipment and service history. The scope of preparation, testing, moving, installation, operator guidance and warranty must therefore be agreed for each machine before purchase and stated in the quotation or sales documents.

Warranty and after-sales service

Information to agree before ordering

  • Machine condition and any preparation or testing included
  • Scope of moving, installation and site preparation
  • Operating guidance or documents included at handover
  • Brand, model, year, equipment and terms for that machine

What is agreed machine by machine

Used machines that have run in Japanese factories differ widely in age, condition and service history. A single set of terms applied to every machine would be a promise no seller could keep. Warranty terms for each machine are therefore agreed at the time of purchase.

  • The scope of cover, meaning which systems of the machine are included
  • The period of cover, counted from delivery or from installation
  • How to raise a service request, and which costs the buyer carries

Every term is put in writing

The scope, the period and the service conditions you agree on are stated in the quotation and in the sales agreement every time. The buyer holds the document before deciding, rather than relying on a spoken understanding.

Ask about the machine you are considering

Tell us the model or the stock reference you are looking at. Our sales team can give you the terms for that machine during business hours, before you decide.
